About Us We are a young and dynamic Irish Ltd. company, based in Cork.
As the first child company owned by a small foundation with high aspirations, we are dedicated to certain aspects of the foundation's knowledge mission.
We focus on sparking the rise of business operations management as a holistic approach and deliver operations management and consulting services for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
Our goal is to create and share skills and knowledge for entrepreneurs and upper management representatives, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, on-site solutions across Europe.
As we transition following the retirement of a seasoned professional, we are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Freelance Part-Time Director .
This role will support the company's goals and help guide it towards a unified vision for the future.
Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated individual, ideally with relevant experience in management, business operations, and regulatory compliance with essential legal and tax rules for companies in Ireland.
More than knowing everything from day one, an interest in and willingness to learn on your own initiative are required.
This flexible, part-time role currently requires a commitment of approximately 4-5 hours per month, starting with a handover period in mid-April and officially commencing in May 2025 .
The ideal candidate might be someone who:
Is bothered by poor execution and wants to change it.
Loves to create new things.
Ideally has a wealth of experience.
Is comfortable working remotely and prefers to take thoughtful action rather than rely on much advice.
Is self-motivated and able to work independently.
Can provide strategic leadership that aligns with the company's mission and ongoing development.
Passion and knowledge of current IT issues would be a plus, but not a requirement.
This could be someone who is still active in retirement and finds it attractive to let a self-used office space (without customer traffic) to work from home, or alternatively, someone with their own (perhaps complementary) business.
If you think you might complement our goals, please contact us so we can consider your talents in this or another context.
