We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Bank Support Assistant (Days and Nights).
About the Role
The successful candidate will work flexibly, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and associated needs in a person-centred approach.
As a Bank Support Assistant, you will be required to:
* Assist service users with activities of daily living and facilitate inclusion in a broad range of activities.
* Support service users with identified personal care and support needs.
You will be working within a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework, providing care and support on a 24-hour basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 6 months of experience in providing care/support.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, including numeracy skills.
* A working knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities.
* Demonstratable understanding and knowledge of behaviours that challenge.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.75 per hour, plus annual leave, statutory sick pay, auto-enrolment into a pension scheme, and free parking.
