Our client is an established Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers firm in Dublin city centre with over 30 years experience working in the Irish market. Due to an increase in projects, they are expanding and seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join their growing team. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing and delivering projects across various construction stages as well as contributing to the overall success of projects. The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have over 4 years post qualification experience within a cost consultancy or developer environment along with previous experience compiling reports, claims and contracts. *Must hold eligibility to work in Ireland* Key Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive cost plans and budget estimates. Conduct value engineering, identifying risks and opportunities. Create Bills of Quantities with precision and attention to detail. Review and evaluate tenders, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Assess interim valuation payments, negotiating and agreeing on variations. Provide expert cost reporting and contribute to final account settlement. Regularly communicate with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and satisfaction. Skills & Experience desired: Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar Over 4 years of post-qualification experience within a cost consultancy environment or developer Highly driven to deliver exceptional work SCSI or RICS membership is highly desired Strong written and verbal communication skills Previous experience compiling varying reports, valuations, and claims Salary & Benefits: Salary: €55k-€65k doe Annual bonus Flexible working hours Professional subscriptions Great Career development opportunities.
