Sales Merchandising Role in Tobacco and Vaping Industry
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading field marketing company on an international brand.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a geographic area, including all tobacco and vaping retail outlets within that territory, and deliver excellence in merchandising principles and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* BUILD AND MAINTAIN FULL DISTRIBUTION OF ALL CLIENT PRODUCTS AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTS
* MERCHANDISING IN THE REGIONS, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE CONVENIENCE CHANNEL (SUPERVALU, CENTRA, SPAR, MACE, LONDIS, FORECOURTS ETC.)
* GENERATE EXTRA SPACE FOR BRANDS AND CLIENT PRODUCTS BY IMPLEMENTING STORE ASSORTMENT OPTIMIZATION
* MERCHANDISE ALL CLIENT SKU'S AND REPLENISH STOCK ON SHELF, BUILD DISPLAY UNITS, AND FEATURE DISPLAYS
Additional Responsibilities:
* PLACE POINT OF SALE AND POINTS OF INTERRUPTION TO ENHANCE PATH TO PURCHASE
* MEET COMPANY EXPECTATIONS FOR POS PLACEMENT, MARKETING MATERIALS, SEL'S, DISTRIBUTION, AND SPACE CALL COMPLETION
* CAPTURE AND REPORT ALL IN-STORE BAT AND COMPETITOR ACTIVITY VIA HANDHELD DEVICE
Requirements:
* PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS WITH A CAN-DO ATTITUDE AND SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE
* UNDERSTANDING OF MERCHANDISING, CATEGORY PLANNING, AND PLANOGAMS
* EXPERIENCE IN FMCG SECTOR WITH PROVEN RECORD IN DELIVERING BEHAVIORS COMMENSURATE WITH COMPANY GUIDELINES
* GOOD INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, EXCELLENT VERBAL, COMMUNICATION, AND PERSONAL ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
