RECRUITER – GALWAY CITY
Cpl Galway are expanding and we’re looking for either an experienced 360 Recruiter or a junior Sales/Business Development Specialist to be based in Galway City to join our team. You will join a team of 12, specifically focused on our Science & Engineering desk servicing candidates and clients of ours across the West of Ireland. This is a permanent, 360 role with a heavy focus on business development, networking, and events across the wider Medtech, Lifesciences & Engineering sectors.
You will have a chance to work in a cutting-edge sector with immense growth potential. You will have autonomy and creative input in building out the desk’s direction and strategy. You will receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team to ensure you are successful in this role.

The Role:
* Build personal book of business with all clients in the West of Ireland.
* Predominantly focusing on a science & engineering desk.
* Meet or exceed target fees & KPI’s, through development of long-term client relationships.
* Source high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
* Develop, maintain, and manage client accounts.
* Identify new business opportunities within the sector by researching market trends and attending industry events.
* Take ownership for personal and professional development.
* Lead by example and ensure that Cpl best practices and Core Values are always demonstrated.
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of industry sector and/or functional area.
* Ensure a positive contribution to social media mediums to drive networking, candidate identification, and develop client relations.
* Manage recruitment administration tasks including contract negotiation, offer letters, and onboarding processes which align to the client.
Skills Required:
* Previous experience in a sales-based and/or business development role – Essential.
* Previous experience in agency recruitment - Desirable.
* Sales focused, positive attitude, strong work ethic, process improvement orientated, excellent communication skills, open-minded, and willingness to learn - Essential.
* Ability to multitask and be delivery-focused.
* Motivated, hardworking, ambitious, resilient with a positive attitude.
* Is proficient in working off own initiative – Essential.
* Must be flexible to attend industry events and work outside of core hours, if required.
* Ability to win new business, cold-call, network and more – Essential.
* Must be driven by working towards performance/income generating metrics and providing a 1st-class experience to both clients and candidates to ensure return custom.
* Advanced MS Suite along with the ability to use multiple systems in tandem – Essential.
* LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean string creation - Desirable.
