Job Summary:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the PM will be responsible for key projects assigned to them.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the delivery and performance of project portfolio in line with business expectations, whilst meeting respective safety, quality, and cost objectives.
2. Manage project tasks from sales order and terms agreed with QS & client team, delivering scope through effective operations planning, surveying, scheduling & resourcing approach.
3. Communicate effectively with work areas on project requirements including client foreman/crews, H&S, procurement, and ESL Foreman.
4. Plan projects efficiently, minimising project turnaround times and maximising cash flow.
5. Manage a team of people ensuring work is delivered to timeframes.
6. Manage and review employees' time and attendance and ensure that direct reports are complying with company standards.
7. Analyse and report portfolio performance including risk management KPI monitoring, estimate vs. actual, cost control, client billing, cash flow and implementing rapid recovery as required.
8. Site visits with team to review work practices, identify work improvement opportunities, and follow through implementation of solutions to opportunities.
9. Develop and maintain client relationships, capitalising on opportunities for new business sales growth in line with business expectations.
10. Manage PL Maintenance Portfolio for respective area by achieving maintenance budget & maintaining project KPI, coordinating maintenance faults schedule to crews, maintaining ESB works notification schedule, identifying and implementing lean activities.
11. Actively partake in the implementation of business operating systems to improve efficiency throughout the organisation, specifically but not limited to the area of project management.
12. Be an ambassador for the company’s values and ensure you lead the team in line with our vision, mission, and purpose.

Education:
Qualified Level 8 Degree in Project Management/ Electrical/ Civil or Construction Engineering.
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years Project Management experience delivering projects.
* Experience of leading and managing construction projects and successful achievement of KPI’s.
* Experience of managing people and ensuring the company's values are lived.
* Demonstrable evidence of strong commercial acumen and client relationship management.
* Experience in applying lean principles to work activities.
* Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying project goals and updates.
* Excellent IT skills using Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel.
* Familiarity with project management tools to streamline planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
* Must have a customer-oriented mindset to ensure that project outcomes align with client expectations.
* Flexibility to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.
