Sales Director
Our client is a leader in providing medical supplies with offices in Ireland and the States. We are seeking a proven team manager with strong business development skills to lead the sales function and continue to grow the medical supplies part of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
* Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
* Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve results. Must be able to write, present, and deliver on business plans, sales strategies, and sales modules.
* Nurture strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
* Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics. Must have a proven record in both sales and purchasing practices.
* Use sales data to help with the pricing of products.
* Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
* Provide valuable input to product development based on market demands and customer feedback.
* Collaborate with sales operations and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans.
* Monitor performance against forecasts and implement adjustments as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* At least five years of experience in sales leadership, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* In-depth understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and industry trends.
* Ability to analyze and deal with competitors.
