Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Catalyx is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork. This role will operate on a 24/7 shift.

Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks
* Work on assignments that range from semi-routine to moderately complex in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations
* Perform routine work with minimal guidance
* Independently locate and diagnose failure, replaces defective components and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals and verbal and/or written instructions
* Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs
* Use a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment
* Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisor
* Coordinate maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor
* Create or revise standard operating procedures
* Perform multi-shift work as required
* Comply with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
* Be available to respond to emergency notifications via phone
* Demonstrate knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations
* Utilise established precedents and policies
* Demonstrates knowledge of maintenance systems, methods and procedures
* Recognise deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot
Requirements
* 3+ years of relevant experience within a GMP facility
* Current Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate GSL
* Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
