**Quantity Surveyor Role in Cork**
We are seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join our client's growing team based in Cork.

Your New Role:
This role involves cost management on the team, with responsibilities including project quantity surveyor/cost manager tasks at all stages, such as pre-contract cost planning and bills of quantities production, post-contract interim recommendations and variation account valuation and agreement.
There will also be opportunities to work on specialist tasks like technical due diligence on proposed developments in both public and private sectors.
Requirements:
1. Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or appropriate conversion course
2. Preferable Chartered by if working towards same this is acceptable
3. Knowledge of ARM and preparation of BOQs to ARM.
4. Minimum 5 years experience.
5. Full Driving License.
6. Previous experience in a consulting or contracting environment providing/undertaking Cost Management and Project monitoring services is desirable.
7. Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
8. Report writing knowledge essential.
9. Drive to learn and contribute in a positive and engaging manner.
10. Ability to work as part of a team to deliver collective tasks and also to work under own initiative where appropriate.
11. Understanding of construction projects.
12. From time to time, you will be requested to visit site.
