Job Title: Technology Service/Incident Manager
Join a leading global financial organisation in the technology space as an experienced Technology Service/Incident Manager. Reporting to senior stakeholders, you'll work at the forefront of service delivery, ensuring operational compliance under the DORA framework while supporting critical IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee P1/P2 incident management and resolution, ensuring DORA-compliant reporting and communications.
* Assess incidents against DORA thresholds and notify key internal stakeholders promptly.
* Prepare regulatory notifications and submit within 24 hours for qualifying incidents.
* Analyse recurring incidents and implement solutions to address root causes.
* Maintain and update documentation related to incidents, governance, and project deliverables.
* Collaborate with technology teams to streamline communication and operational processes.
* Provide incident and problem management reports for London and Dublin regions.
* Facilitate new application onboarding, ensuring attestations and documentation are in place.
* Drive improvements in communication strategies for clarity and effectiveness during critical incidents.
Requirements:
* Education: Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certification required; Graduate Degree preferred.
* Experience: 3+ years in Incident Management or Coordinator role, with exposure to IT service management frameworks.
* Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and application platforms.
o Proficiency in creating infographics, presentations, and documentation.
o Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and incident management systems.
* Competencies:
o Exceptional communication skills, simplifying technical concepts.
o Strong organisational skills and effective priority management.
o Experience engaging senior executives and cross-functional teams.
* Preferred Knowledge: Exposure to Capital Markets or Securities Dealer Applications.
