As the stand-alone HR Business Partner in Ireland, you will report into the HR Corporate Director for UKI, and work in close collaboration with the UKI divisional HRDs to ensure alignment across the people agenda. You will sit on the Irish Leadership team (ILT) acting as a trusted advisor on all HR issues. You will be driven by the challenge of partnering with the business to help achieve the business agenda and unlock talent potential.
As part of your role, you will be able to quickly build strong relationships with internal managers and employees and be the first point of contact for all HR related queries. You will be able to think on your feet, be solutions focused and results driven.
You will
1. Drive the talent agenda through :
2. Dynamic career conversations, in alignment with managers, to reinforce retention and optimise skillsets across the teams
3. Support business in talent acquisition, ensuring diversity balance and a pipeline for future talent
4. Structure and drive proactive succession planning with your populations
5. Support line managers in their decision making for promotions/offers and in delivering key messages to their teams
6. Identify strategic resourcing requirements (including current and projected skills / capability gaps) to develop and execute strategic resourcing plans.
7. Be able to leverage data analytics to drive HR and business strategy around retention, productivity and talent management.
8. Play an active role in the Irish Leadership Team, working with the heads of business to define and drive the overall L’Oréal Ireland mission, owning key project relation to the people frame
9. Be fully accountable for employee relations: pro-actively lead and manage all first line employees relations cases, ensuring managers are offered practical advice and guidance in line with legislation
10. Work with HR Services to ensure policies are constantly reviewed and updated to be in line with current legislation
11. Act as a trusted advisor to the UKI HR Retail Team on all Irish legislative topics
12. Own data management for your direct scope: be able to leverage data analytics to drive the HR and business strategic frames
13. Support the UKI divisional teams to manage HR Cost Controlling by supporting the HRD to effectively manage headcount and salary costs in line with the BU budget, offering pragmatic solutions and identifying opportunities and in close collaboration with finance
14. Co-lead change management and organisation design with divisional HRDs: all end-to-end change and offer strategic support to management in respective area
15. Actively manage the Employee Experience of both office and field-based employees working to ensure a culture focused on inclusivity and management of the overall Ireland activity calendar
16. Drive the learning agenda through assessing specific learning needs in Ireland and owning the Irish learning budget
17. Line manage the Office & Academy Manager offering support on topics such as Safety, Health and Environmental topics. You will also play a lead role on the SHE committee.
