Our client, a leading automotive leasing provider, is currently in search of a Business Development Manager to join their established team, to drive growth by winning new corporate customers in contract hire, fleet management, and rental services.
Reporting to the Head of New Business, this role offers the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. It’s suited to individuals who thrive on prospecting, networking, and generating new business opportunities.
Your role:
* Proactively generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, social media, and attending networking events.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, developing short, medium, and long-term business plans.
* Lead consultative sales processes, including understanding client requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and negotiating contracts.
* Conduct credit appraisals and prepare comprehensive proposals.
* Ensure seamless handover of new clients to internal teams with full documentation.
* Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to add value to client relationships.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and adhere to sales procedures.
* A passion for sales and a proven track record of 5+ years’ experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences.
* A self-motivated, resilient, and energetic approach to work.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Expertise in social selling and IT systems, including CRM tools.
* Experience in proposal and tender writing.
* A full clean driving licence.
