Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Accountant/Office Administrator. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both financial and office activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating detailed financial reports.
2. Achieve accurate payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
3. Handle general office tasks such as responding to phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
4. Maintain the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the point-of-sale (POS) system, including accurate data entry.
5. Promote accuracy in maintaining financial records and assist in preparing financial statements.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to support budget preparation and financial planning.
7. Evaluate and enhance office and financial operations for efficient performance and timely execution.
Requirements:
* Exhibit proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing.
* Display proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with POS systems.
* Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Showcase strong organizational skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Present ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
