We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, drive sales performance, lead by example, and develop and build a successful team to ensure that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
2. Oversee store operations, including stock control, merchandising, workflows, and store presentation
3. Manage store budgets and achieve financial goals, including sales targets, payroll budgets, and cost control
4. Monitor and manage staff performance, conducting probation reviews, regular training sessions, appraisals, and development plans
5. Ensure that all health and safety standards and company policies are followed
6. Maintain a positive and motivating store environment with a can-do attitude, fostering teamwork and collaboration
7. Handle administrative tasks such as reports, rotas, payroll, and inventory management
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar retail leadership role ideally in an FMCG/Big Box retail setting
2. Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer service excellence
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. A passion for customer service and delivering an outstanding shopping experience
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
8. Ability to drive sales and meet KPIs
9. Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
10. Proactive and results-driven with a hands-on approach
