Who You Are
You are an eager individual who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will come into Hope as an entry-level mental health service provider. You will implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents within a therapeutic environment.
What You'll Do
* Treatment - Provide 1:1 behavioral and skill acquisition support and treatment for students in identified areas of need.
* Reporting - Complete documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines.
* Collaboration - Collaborate with IEP and treatment team including teachers, schools, and behavioral personnel to maximize positive impacts to students.
* Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
What You'll Need
* Associate's degree (Required).
* Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
* Experience working with individuals with developmental delays.
Clearances & Training Required
* Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
* Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance.
* Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education.
* Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate.
* Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children.
* CPR/First Aid.
* TB/Physical.
