Galetech Energy Services (GES), part of the Galetech Group, is one of the leading renewable energy services companies in Ireland. We are presently working as consultants on a range of wind, solar, BESS, and bioenergy projects both in Ireland and internationally.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team. GES is supporting clients in a number of projects at various stages of their project lifecycle. You will be primarily responsible for managing projects through both pre-construction and construction phases. The role will vary between leading the Owner Engineer team or being part of the wider team as needed. You will also provide commercial and technical input where required.
The role will involve:
1. Assisting in the preparation of electrical functional specifications
2. Tendering
3. Contract management
4. Operations support
The ideal candidate will be an Electrical Project Engineer with experience in the renewable energy sector. You should be highly self-motivated, organised, and able to problem-solve and deliver projects to deadlines while working in a dynamic environment, both as part of a team and on your own initiative. Excellent communication and strong technical ability are essential. Familiarity with the renewable energy sector and grid connections would be a distinct advantage. A working knowledge of CAD or other electrical design software packages is desirable.
