Excel Recruitment currently has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Key Account Manager.
Our client, a highly established logistics company are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team, this role would be responsible for managing a large portfolio of customers throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience selling into and managing retail accounts. This role would be a mix of both office based in our clients office in Dublin West and field based.
Duties will include:
1. Develop and implement sales and retention strategies
2. Exhibit keen analytical and critical thinking skills, identifying potential for growth and continuous improvements.
3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and distributors.
4. Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
5. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, market share, and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
6. 3 years+ Experience in a similar role
7. Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM based software is a plus.
8. Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
9. Organizational and time-management skills
10. A good business acumen
11. Enthusiastic and passionate.
12. Full Driver’s License
