Overview
Reporting directly to the Leadership Team, this is a unique opportunity to be one of the key team members that shapes our clients' future and continued success.
We are looking for a highly competent and experienced sales professional to take on accountability for sales revenue and strategy, with the ability to also be a dynamic leader to the sales team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the existing team while also inheriting a substantial existing sales pipeline. The Head of Sales will act as the go-to contact for all clients who have ongoing dealings with the business, thus becoming the commercial face of the company.
* Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
* Confer with potential customers regarding their needs and advise customers on the correct solution for their home.
* Determine price schedules and discount rates; direct and coordinate activities involving all sales activities within the company.
* Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
* Oversee sales teams, plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
* Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditure.
* Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
* Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
* College degree or higher in business or any related field.
* Ability to give full attention to others, be aware of their reactions, and understand why they react as they do, positively influencing a sales cycle.
* Strong knowledge of complex high-value sales.
* Strong knowledge of construction and/or retrofit (residential).
* 5 years experience in complex sales management.
