Apply today. The Role.GMC Utilities Group are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Planner to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management software, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard project management tools Liaise with Project managers regarding project progress, project claims, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to allocate resources effectively Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior management and clients Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-making processes. The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies: Full clean driver's license essential A qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a teams Knowledge of Irish utility regulations and standards is a plus. Become a part of something bigger.
