Job Description
Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role involves leading a team of technicians in a fast-paced environment within the Power Industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance team management tasks and ensure asset uptime.
2. Plan, organize, direct, and control daily activities of the Maintenance Team to meet defined company, plant, and engineering objectives.
3. Ensure effective follow-up on all maintenance-related issues.
4. Interface with third-party support contracts.
5. Operate a Time Management System for all Maintenance personnel.
6. Provide guidance and hands-on assistance on technical issues.
7. Ensure all engineering work and contracts are carried out to appropriate engineering and safety standards.
8. Meet current Environmental Health and Safety Standards and Legislation.
9. Maintain and manage site engineering systems, including calibrations, preventative maintenance activities, and KPI indicators.
10. Report on Maintenance Team performance.
11. Lead the Maintenance Team in development and continuous improvement to ensure all Maintenance KPIs are met.
Requirements
* Trade or degree qualification in engineering and/or maintenance.
* Minimum 5 years' experience gained in a dynamic plant environment.
* Experience in facilities/utilities management, automation systems, and projects.
* Experience managing engineers at all levels along with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
