Four-star country retreat seeks results-driven Sales & Events Manager to lead sales efforts and coordinate exceptional events This luxury four-star retreat in Co Wicklow is currently recruiting a dynamic Sales & Events Managerwith a proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales targets and planning seamless events of all kinds while driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in accommodation, corporate events, weddings and private functions. Identify new business opportunities and nurture relationships with potential clients, event planners, and corporate partners. Conduct sales visits, presentations, and networking events to promote the hotel. Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and client engagement. Oversee the planning and coordination of conferences and private events to ensure a seamless guest experience. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions and exceptional service. Collaborate with internal departments (kitchen, front office, operations) to ensure smooth event execution. Manage event budgets, contracts, deposits, and timelines, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in event setups, logistics, and overall customer satisfaction, acting as main point of contact for clients. Build strong relationships with repeat clients and key stakeholders to encourage loyalty and referrals, ensuring excellent communications at every stage. Gather and analyse client feedback to continuously improve the event experience. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details. Prepare reports on sales performance, revenue projections, and market insights for senior management. Ensure all contracts, deposits, and payments are managed efficiently. Assist with reservations and weddings if needed. The ideal candidate: Minimum of two years experience in a sales and events role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of corporate events, weddings, and conference planning. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and internal teams. Good IT proficiency: MS Office, PMS, sales & booking systems etc. Full drivers licence with own transport.
