Responsibilities:
As a successful Datacentre Technician, your success will be measured by:

2. Empowering a culture of safety and security in global datacentre operations by complying with CO+I’s safety programs and policies and completing compliance knowledge assessments.
3. Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Your day-to-day work will include:
1. Supporting deployment of on-site datacentre physical infrastructure
2. Installing, replacing and troubleshooting cables and hardware
3. Working within a ticket-based environment
4. Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
5. Assisting the Datacentre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping/receiving and inventory management to address high work volumes as required.
Qualifications
1. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
2. Experience handling/maintaining any technical equipment or machinery.
While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
2. Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
3. Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
4. Able to communicate effectively.
5. Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
6. Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
7. Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
