Job Description
As a Senior Controls Engineer at Abbott, you will play a critical role in addressing intricate problem-solving situations that may involve conflicting design specifications, the inadequacy of traditional materials, and the need for effective coordination. You will design, implement, and maintain processes that help manufacturers increase productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and execute engineering modifications to optimize processes and outcomes.
* Design and direct engineering studies and experiments aimed at improving system functionality.
* Evaluate issues and analyze their repercussions on projects and workflows.
* Define design and process specifications that meet project objectives.
* Ensure all documentation adheres to established company protocols for clarity and compliance.
Requirements
* Minimum NFQ level 7 qualification in Industry Automation, Mechatronics, Computer science, Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years engineering or operational experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Strong Problem Solving skills.
