The Reliability Engineer plays a vital role in enhancing equipment and utility-related reliability, supporting the Maintenance Excellence Program, and ensuring engineering compliance across the site.
Responsibilities:
* Integrate MEP (Maintenance Excellence Program) into the site culture to promote reliability and efficiency.
* Develop procedures for compliant equipment maintenance and monitor system performance to optimize results.
* Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and compliance to drive business growth.
* Utilize predictive maintenance technologies like root cause failure analysis (RCFA), RCM, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Train employees on reliability processes and promote ongoing preventive maintenance education to ensure a culture of excellence.
* Analyze failure history to develop long-term solutions for recurring issues, reducing the risk of future failures.
* Provide reliability specifications for new equipment and ensure compliance with engineering standards to guarantee quality and safety.
* Manage Engineering Change Control processes to prevent non-conformances and maintain high standards.
* Proficiently use Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) for tracking and analysis to inform data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in Engineering or relevant discipline, or a trade qualification with over six years of engineering experience.
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience for those with a third-level qualification.
* Strong IT skills, problem-solving ability, and innovative thinking required to drive business innovation.
* High attention to detail, results-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
* Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy, making informed decisions to drive business success.
* Commitment to quality, integrity, and maintaining high standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Understanding of cGMP, HPRA/FDA regulations, and adherence to safety and compliance standards to ensure a safe working environment.
