About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team in South Cork. As a key member of our civil project, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and implementing our HSEQ policy, ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Health, Safety, and Environmental Planning: Prepare comprehensive plans and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
* Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits and generate detailed reports to identify areas for improvement.
* Safety Meetings: Coordinate and prepare for safety-related meetings to ensure effective communication.
* Safety Inductions: Deliver thorough inductions to all onsite personnel, emphasizing the importance of HSEQ practices.
* Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and support to all onsite personnel in HSEQ best practices.
* Safety Data Management: Effectively manage safety data within our safety management system.
* Legislative Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation to ensure seamless compliance.
* Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and represent our company in meetings, promoting a positive image.
* Innovation: Continuously improve techniques for environmental and safety control, driving excellence within our organization.
Requirements
* Qualifications: 3rd Level Qualification in Health & Safety.
* Experience: Proven experience with large construction projects, particularly civil schemes.
* IT Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other IT tools.
* Health & Safety Expertise: At least 46 years of experience in Health & Safety on construction projects.
